Consistent character

Consistent character

Glibatree

Try THIS to make Midjourney way more consistent!!! (NEW METHOD)

Can midjourney maintain a consistent character (protagonist) but in different scenes, for a story?

Maintaining a consistent character across different scenes in Midjourney can be challenging, but several strategies have been suggested by users:

Image Referencing: Generate an initial image of your character and use it as a reference in subsequent prompts to guide Midjourney in recreating the same character in various settings.

Detailed Descriptions: Provide comprehensive descriptions of your character's features, attire, and other distinctive attributes in your prompts to help Midjourney maintain consistency.

Seed Values: Utilize seed values to reproduce specific images, ensuring the character's appearance remains consistent across different scenes.

External Editing: Some users suggest creating the character in Midjourney and then using external editing tools to place the character into different backgrounds or scenes.

These approaches aim to enhance character consistency in Midjourney-generated images.

1) First generate a full length image of your character with the complete description including shoes ( so that you get the feet), and the aspect ratio as --9:16. Now use this image as character reference --cref.

2) For your scene describe what you want the character to do. If you want to change the clothes and style, put that in the prompt. Then put in your cref.

3];Also if you are not getting a certain pose or action right, download an image from the Internet, and use that as sref, along with your cref image.

For ex:- I wanted my character to use a bow and arrow but mj wasn't getting it right. So I used an archer's image as sref.

Hope these tips help. Good luck

using Discord you use the text above, if your using the app or website. you add your images, and click what you want that image to be. and shift click if you want to have it be both.

Face icon = Character reference

Paper icon = Style Reference

Image icon = prompt reference

use the --cref parameter. Create an image for your character, upload it to MJ then refer to it using the --cref parameter. The --cw parameter controls the weight.

Playground . Ai was the only one I found that could do this by referencing the "seed" image.

On chatGpt you can Ask the "seed" wich is a long number and then have content character.

Chatgpt is just better for these types of projects. You can get more out of making a character sheet using the seed number.
